Anyone who's played World at War online has probably seen someone get deranked by a modder.
Sometimes they set your XP to a massive negative number, which can stop you from leveling up or even finding multiplayer matches.
How to get it fixed:
Don't pay random people or give out your account login information just to get your rank fixed.
Hopefully this helps anyone who's been stuck with negative XP for years.
Sometimes they set your XP to a massive negative number, which can stop you from leveling up or even finding multiplayer matches.
How to get it fixed:
- Load WAW multiplayer and check your current rank and XP.
- If your XP is negative, take a screenshot of the value.
- Look for a trusted WAW stat-recovery host who can reset negative XP. * cough * me * cough *
- Ask them to restore your XP to a normal value rather than maxing everything out.
- Once the recovery is complete, restart WAW and check whether your rank saves and matchmaking works again.
